I just love the whole vibe of the space- a real industrial gem, with a stunning outdoor space and oodles of Manc charm. I’m so excited to be shooting Nikki & Andy’s fab wedding here in 2021. Refine your wedding venue search by location, capacity, type, and style.

Amid the bustle of London’s East End, Frizzante provides a charming oasis, and a little bit of Italy! The concept of the restaurant is ‘passion for good rustic food’ and its position in Hackney City Farm is perfect for the Italian agriturismo-inspired vibe. You are encouraged to talk to the chef to discuss your menu, whether it’s a buffet and band affair or a 3-course candlelit feast with vintage vocal group. The garden and terrace are available with hire of the restaurant, for you and your guests to make the most of this green London space. With its high vaulted ceilings and original church windows, the stunning Studio 1 at Jacksons Lane is a dramatic event space.

We all go through challenging life phases, and opening a wedding venue business is a definite stressor. Try to minimise the other stressors in your life as much as possible before diving into the small-business life. It can be difficult to think of ways to keep guests entertained that haven’t been done at weddings before though. Our top tip for wowing your guests is to keep all your ideas a secret in the run-up to the big day and only tell a few trusted people who you might need to help you.

Opt for a ceremony in the sand or on one of the many decks or indoor spaces the property has to offer. Be it for the rehearsal dinner, after party, or during the days surrounding the wedding, spend time at The Beach Club, it’s where anyone whose anyone goes to see and be seen come summertime. Once a private plantation, this ‘Ritz-y’ reserve developed by a Rockefeller is known for it’s remoteness, refinement, and respect for Puerto Rico.

Unfortunately, The Wool Barn isn’t licensed for ceremonies so the venue makes for a great wedding party, but the legal part may have to happen elsewhere. According to a survey taken in eight countries last May by wedding planning websiteThe Knot, 66 per cent of people decided to reschedule their weddings to a later date. That means almost 30 per cent went ahead with their vows despite hurdles due to the pandemic. In light of the Prime Minister’s announcement last night, restrictions were eased for the number of guests at a wedding – though it seems that smaller, more intimate weddings might here to stay. I’m Rach- a craft nerd, serial Netflix binging, tea-o-holic, peanut butter loving, music geek who loves to travel. I’m also a kick-ass documentary wedding photographer who loves quirky, relaxed couples who like to do things differently. I love colourful weddings and non-traditional couples planning their day, their way.

Of course, people of all ages get married and throw parties. But most people across Europe get married in their late 20s or early 30s. Additionally, you’ll need a density of population that supports your venue . Unless your venue has a spectacular setting or special features that will attract people from across the state and country, avoid areas with a sparse or aging population. If you’re thinking about starting a wedding venue business, the most important first step is taking off those rose-coloured glasses. Running a wedding venue company is more than a labour of love, and far more challenging than you may think. It takes grit, honesty, and resources — not unlike the institution of marriage itself.

If you want your wedding reception to have a cool nightclub vibe, then why not host your event in an actual nightclub? Once they turn down the EDM and turn off the strobe lights, many nightclubs magically transform into contemporary event spaces. And as an added bonus, because they don’t normally have noise restrictions, they can let your party go way past the typical wedding venue “curfew”. Picture a fairytale castle, and Castell Coch, hidden in beautiful woodlands, is it. It’s only available for intimate ceremonies of up to 30 guests and must be booked at least 13 months in advance – how’s that for exclusivity? The High Gothic architecture is breathtaking, but floral-bedecked walls make it feel romantic and inviting, rather than grand and cold.

It is going to be an elegant reception with outdoor elements. My wedding venue is a tent attached to the restaurant building . When the weather is nice you can open some parts of each side and have your wedding reception in the garden. What’s more, in the winter you can have a heater put inside the tent. Not only are these wedding venues unique, but guests can explore different historical masterpieces or go on tours before or after the ceremony.
